c3wkc76ndlv57cn3[1]This is an open letter to George Will, Bill Kristol, Tom Ridge and any other Republican or former Republican who has stated they will not support Donald Trump for President of the United States.  Over the years you have fed us a long line of subpar candidates that we were expected to support.

You have pushed on us people like Bob Dole, John McCain, George W. Bush and Mitt Romney.  The list goes on and on.  These candidate were far below what I was looking for.

I held my nose and supported these people because as poor as they were, they were still preferable to what the other side was presenting.

For the first time since Ronald Reagan in 1980 and 1984, you have not gotten your way.  So, like all spoiled children, you are packing up and spitting on you party and going home.

Well, I say: GOOD RIDENCE.  We don’t need you.  Hopefully now you will cause no more problems.  The party is so much stronger without you.

I have heard over and over again that you and your kind will never stand for another Reagan to be elected again.  You always seem to need someone who is moderate and does your bidding, someone you can control.

Well, guess what.  Donald Trump is no Ronald Reagan.  He was not my first choice.  He has faults.  He does not support all of my positions, but he won the primaries fair and square.  He raised issues that needed to be raised that the other candidates stayed away from.  Trump brought out more voters than anyone before him.  He struck a chord with the “silent majority” that your candidates never saw.

So, George and friends, goodbye and happy hunting.  We don’t need you or want you.  Our party will be sooo much better now that you have left.
