The Obama Administration has recently purchased 2,717 MaxxPro vehicles for Homeland Security. These trucks are built to withstand IED’s and mine blasts. The MaxxPro has gun ports along the side, and they are armored to withstand attack in combat. The vehicles were returned from the Middle East and were retrofitted by Navistar in West Point, Mississippi. Work was completed in May, 2012.
The question is, why would Homeland Security need this type of vehicle on the streets of America? Homeland Security has also purchases 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition during the last year.
With the Obama Administration on the campaign trail promoting limitations of gun ownership, it’s a scary story. None of this makes much sense until you realize that entitlements equal the entire income received by the government. http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/EW5IdwltaAc?rel=0 For the country to get out of this debt mess, massive tax increases plus reduced benefits will be required. This is in addition to pumping the printing press even more than we are now.
Think how the country will react to much higher taxes, reduced Social Security and welfare, and rampant inflation all at the same time.
There will be a revolt in the streets, and Homeland Security is getting ready for it.
Are we getting ready for Homeland Security?
Our budget is completely out of control. The only hope we have of avoiding a major default is for the economy to grow at a rate that surpasses the Reagan years. With the Administration campaigning for more tax revenue, with Obamacare taxes kicking in over the next few years, and an ever-growing entitlement society, it is doubtful the economy can grow much more than the stagnant amount we are seeing now. With this administrations zest for new regulations, all of which retard growth, will continue to keep unemployment sky-high as far into the future as we can see. Obama, as I’ve said many times, doesn’t have a clue as to how our economy works. neither does anyone else working in this administration.
Obama, and the rest of his Administration, have a very difficult time understanding the Oath of Office they all swore when assuming their posts. The Constitution seems like a guide-book rather than the law of the land. They have shown they don’t even know the Constitution, let alone enforce it. The right to bear arms, due process and freedom of religion are just a few of the constitutional requirements they have failed to uphold.
If our future involves armed combat between Homeland Security and the population, we are all in for a rough ride.
Another area of concern is the reconstruction of detention centers around the country. Originally planned under the Reagan Administration to detain illegal immigrants from Mexico, each center was designed to hold up to 5,000 people at a time.
Halliburton subsidiary, KBR, formerly Kellogg, Brown and Root, received a contract in 2006 to re-establish the camps. In 2008, 20,000 U.S. troops returning from Iraq were scheduled to be stationed at the camps for “civil unrest and crowd control.”
The Department of Homeland Security is spending more energy on white middle class Americans, using the language of domestic terrorists. It seems that average Americans are being set up as enemies of the State. This is similar to Hitlers Germany in 1939.
It seems this administration may need the vehicles, bullets, and detention centers to handle whats coming in our future.
